The physiological adaptation of the king cobra is its venom. Like I said in the behavioral adaptations, the king cobra can jump up to be eye level with the average human. It then spits venom into their eyes. This can lead to blindness if it's very serious. If this venom gets into the victim's blood stream, they will die. It is extremely deadly. The king cobra can spit its venom 4 to 8 feet. People say that if you ever come in contact with a king cobra, the best thing to do is keep your distance and protect your eyes.
